How can I receive a designer discount without being an interior designer?

The sole purpose for starting the business would be to redo my house (at a discount) and do the odd thing for family and friends. Would it be possible to do this?

The best way to accomplish this is to ask a designer if they will allow you to shop on their number? since they get discounts deeper the more they shop, I should think with a little work you can find someone.
